What it actually does
Kickserv is field-service software for customers, jobs, and getting paid. You build estimates, schedule work, send invoices by text or email, take online payments, and run the day from a mobile app with GPS and time tracking on higher plans. That is the product. It is not a reviews company. It is not an AI receptionist.
The pricing story is seat bundles. On kickserv.com/pricing, read October 28, 2026: Start $60 a month for 5 users, Run $119 for 10, Scale $199 for 20. Save 20% with annual. Each plan CTA says TRY free for 30 days. From on our card is Start $60. Do not put an annual rate in From.
Start lists embeddable contact form, automated email and text reminders, 20-plus business reports, time tracking, expense tracking, and QuickBooks Online. Run adds dispatch mapping, GPS check-ins, custom data fields, custom reports, and QuickBooks Desktop as a $50/m add-on. Scale adds custom templates on top of Run. Kickserv Kickback knocks 5% off monthly fees when you hit the plan’s online-payments floor: $1,000 Start, $2,000 Run, $3,000 Scale. The Kickback copy also names Premium. No Premium cash price appears on that page, so we call Premium Custom / not listed.
Homepage feature set matches the aisle: customers, estimates, jobs, invoices, mobile, and named integrations (QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Stripe, Mailchimp, Customer Lobby).
Who should buy it
Buy it
Buy it if you run a home-service or field-service business, you want one board for quote through invoice, and a 5-user Start at $60 beats stacking single seats elsewhere. Against our live cards, Jobber Core is $49 cash for 1 user, Housecall Pro Basic is $79, and ServiceM8 Starter is $29 with unlimited logins and a 50 new-job credit. Kickserv wins when headcount sits near 5, 10, or 20 and you want the seat math fixed in public dollars.
Skip it
Do not buy it if you are solo or a two-person crew and ServiceM8 at $29 or Jobber at $49 covers you. You would pay for seats you do not use. Do not buy Run thinking QuickBooks Desktop is included. It is $50 more a month. Do not buy expecting a printed Premium quote on the pricing page. It is not there.
The catch
The reason not to buy, even when the aisle is right, is the entry price versus peers that already live on our aisle. Start at $60 sits above ServiceM8 Starter $29 and Jobber Core $49. Seat caps also push you up a rung the moment you hire past 5 or 10. ServiceM8 meters new jobs instead. Pick the constraint you can live with.
