What it actually does

Tradify takes a job from the first inquiry to the paid invoice. A customer fills out your branded inquiry form or emails your Tradify inbox, you turn that into a job, send a quote with options they can accept online, put the work on a scheduler that syncs with Google Calendar, and invoice when it is done. Card payments, email tracking, and two-way accounting sync with QuickBooks Online or Xero are on every plan. It sells to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and property maintenance businesses, and the job and quote workflow fits most service businesses that bill by the job.

The three public plans differ by feature, and every one is priced per user per month in US dollars. Lite at $47 is the core: jobs, notes, scheduling, quotes, invoices, markups, payments, and accounting sync. Pro at $51 adds custom branding, the inquiry form and inbox, job photos and files, recurring jobs, appointment reminders, progress invoicing for deposits and retentions, quote and invoice reminders that chase themselves, job costing with bill tracking, timesheets, and subcontractor scheduling. Plus at $61 adds the AI tools (SmartRead pulls costs off supplier bills, SmartWrite drafts descriptions), service reminders, job tasks, purchase orders, bulk invoicing, kit bundles, staff activity history, service reports, and reporting. Custom is for large teams and is price by request. An Instant Website is $12 a month on any plan.

Who should buy it

Buy it

Buy it if you are one to three people, you already run your books in QuickBooks Online or Xero, and you want job costing without paying for a top tier. The $4 gap between Lite and Pro is the easiest call on the page: Pro adds timesheets, bill tracking, progress invoicing, and automatic reminders, which is most of what makes job software pay for itself. One owner on Pro is $51 a month with accounting sync included. On our Jobber card, QuickBooks starts at Connect, $139 a month for one user.

Skip it

Do not buy it if your team is growing. Every login is billed, so the price climbs in a straight line. Three people on Pro is $153 a month. Five is $255. Kickserv Start is $60 for five users on our card, and GorillaDesk Basic is $49 for one route with unlimited users. If you plan to give office staff or seasonal help their own login, run that math before you move your customer list.

The catch

Two more things to settle on a call with Tradify, because the pricing page does not answer them. It does not say whether the per-user prices are monthly or annual billing, and it does not mention contracts, cancellation, or whether the trial needs a card. Ask for the monthly price, in writing, for the number of users you will have next year.
