Missed-Call Recovery

How it works · The install route
Hire Counter & Crew and your install rides one work order through six stations: a 30-minute fit call, the pick, the install, the handoff, and a care plan that keeps it earning. About five business days. About one hour of your time.
The route at a glance
No mystery "strategy phase." Every station has a day, an owner, and a thing you walk away holding.
Station 00 Before Day 1 · Self-serve
Most owners show up already knowing what hurts: the phone rings while they're with a customer, reviews stalled at 31, the website form nobody answers. Start in Find AI or our reviews. Every score on the site was published before we ever sold an install of that tool.
Answer three questions: business type, what's costing you, what you can spend.
One to three named tools, public prices, and who we'd skip.
Station 01 Day 1 · 30 minutes
Thirty minutes, no pitch deck. We look at your call volume, your missed-call pattern, and your reviews, then tell you plainly which install pays for itself. Sometimes the answer is a settings fix in software you already own. Sometimes it's nothing at all. We'd rather lose the sale than sell a subscription you'll cancel in March.
Show up with a rough sense of your call volume. That's it.
A written leak report and an honest yes, no, or "fix this first."
Station 02 Day 1–2 · We do the homework
We don't install what pays us the best commission. We install from our own published scorecard, matched to the phone system you run, the CRM or booking software you live in, and the number you told us you can spend. You see the score and the public price before you say yes.
Station 03 Day 2–4 · Remote, in your accounts
Everything is built in your accounts, under your logins, on your data. No site visit, no office visit. Before anything goes live we run the same test we use for our reviews: real calls, talking over it, changing what they need mid-sentence, asking for a person. If it fails on our line, it never reaches yours.
Read the greeting and script. Approve it, or tell us what sounds wrong.
Configure, connect, wire the booking link, and test-call until it's boring.
Station 04 Day 5 · 20 minutes
A 20-minute walkthrough for you and whoever answers your phone. Then you get the runbook: every login in your name, how the call flow works, what the AI says, and exactly when it hands off to a human. Keep us on care, or run it yourself. Either way, nothing is held hostage.
Station 05 Day 6 onward · Optional care plan
Every week you get one short report: what got answered, what got booked, what got reviewed. We tune scripts when callers trip on them. Every quarter we re-check your stack against our latest scorecard, and if a tool starts underperforming, we swap it and tell you why.

After the route
A running install gives you something most local businesses never have: real numbers about who calls, when, and why. Those numbers bring better reviews, reviews bring trust and traffic, and traffic shows you the next thing costing you work. Then we start the route again, a little further up the hill.

Route B · Problem 05 →How it works / Problem 05 · Show up locally
If nearby customers can't find you on the map, we fix what Google reads: your Business Profile, your listings, your reviews. The cleanup lands in about a week. The map takes longer, and we'll show you exactly how much, pin by pin.
The route at a glance
Same work order as every Counter & Crew install. Different tools, different test, and a clock that runs in months, not days.
Station 00 Before Day 1 · Self-serve
This is the quiet problem. Nothing breaks, the phone just rings less than it should. Customers who'd love your work pick from the three names Google shows them, and yours isn't one of them. If two or more of these sound familiar, the map is costing you jobs.
Run the checklist, or pick "Not showing up locally" in Find AI.
The local SEO tools we'd buy, with public prices, and the ones to skip.
Station 01 Day 1 · 30 minutes
Before the call, we drop a grid of pins over your service area and search from every one of them. On the call you see it: green where you win, red where you vanish. Then we trace the why: a mismatched address on Yelp, a missing service category, a review count that stalled last spring.
Tell us the area you serve, and what you most want to be found for.
Your grid, a visibility report, and an honest "worth fixing" or not.
Your grid · today Sample
49 pins across your service area. Each number is where you rank when someone searches from that spot.
Station 02 Day 1–2 · We do the homework
The local SEO aisle is full of tools built for brands with 200 locations and a sales team to match. Most single-location businesses need three things: clean listings, a complete Business Profile, and a way to watch the map. We pick from our published scorecard and tell you what each piece costs before you say yes.
Station 03 Day 2–7 · Remote, in your accounts
"Suite 4" on Google and "#400" on Yelp looks like two different businesses to a search engine. We make every listing say the same thing, rebuild your Business Profile from the category down, create listings you're missing, and wire a review-ask link so new reviews keep landing. No keyword-stuffed business names, no fake pins. Those get businesses suspended.
Confirm your official name, address and hours. Send a few real photos.
Fix, create and submit every listing. Rebuild the profile. Log each change.

Station 04 Week 2 · 20 minutes
A 20-minute walkthrough of what changed and why. Then the runbook: every listing login in your name, the full list of citations we built (yours to keep even if you cancel), a simple photo and post rhythm, and how to read your grid when it lands in your inbox.
Station 05 Every month · Optional care plan
Every month we search from the same 49 pins and send you the new grid next to the old one. Listings drift; someone "suggests an edit" to your hours, a data aggregator reverts your old phone. We catch it and fix it. And we tell you which part of the map to push next.

The honest clock
Our work finishes in a week. Google takes its time reading it. Here's what usually moves, and roughly when.
Everything we control is done. Your Business Profile changes usually show within days.
Directories go live on their own schedule. In our testing, only part are live at the first report. The rest follow.
Usually from the center out. Red pins near your door go gold first, then the edges follow.
Fresh reviews and real photos are the fuel. Stop feeding it and the map slowly drifts back.
What happens when it works
Showing up locally is the top of a loop. More people find you, more people call, and every call you catch becomes a job, then a review, then a higher spot on the map. The businesses that pull ahead pair Get Found with the two installs that close the loop.
