What it actually does

GorillaDesk runs the recurring side of a service business: schedule, route, invoice, collect, remind. You build estimates and work orders, map the day’s jobs, set invoice frequencies that match repeat service, take payments through Stripe or Square, and automate reminders and late-payment notices. Basic includes 20 built-in reports and routing up to 25 stops.

The pricing unit is the route. GorillaDesk counts one route (it also says schedule) for each person who runs their own day. People who travel together share one. Admins, office staff, and everyone else log in free. On the pricing page we opened October 29, 2026: Basic $49 for the first route, then $50 each for routes 2 and 3 and $30 each after that. Pro is $99 plus $50 per added route. Growth is $149, plus $100 for route 2 and $50 each after.

Pro is where the plan earns its price: customer portal, online booking, subscription billing, review requests, e-signatures, GPS tracking, time clock, Zapier, open API, and QuickBooks Online sync. Growth adds a sales pipeline, estimate packages, custom fields, best-available-time scheduling, and multi-branch support.

Texting is not in the plan price. The SMS add-on is $5 a month, and credits come in packs: $50 for 1,000 texts, $100 for 2,500, $200 for 8,000. Credits never expire and only outgoing texts use them.

Who should buy it

Buy it

Buy it if your revenue repeats on a schedule (pest, lawn, pool, cleaning, irrigation) and you have one to three routes. Unlimited logins at $49 compare well with Jobber Core at $49 for one user and Housecall Pro Basic at $79 on our cards. If you need subscription billing and a customer portal, Pro at $99 covers both without counting seats.

Skip it

Do not buy it if you are adding routes quickly. The cost tracks routes, so five routes on Pro is $299 a month before texting. ServiceM8 Starter is $29 with unlimited users and 50 new jobs a month, and Kickserv Start is $60 for 5 users. If your work is one-off projects instead of repeat visits, those fit better.

The catch

The real reason to hesitate is what Basic leaves out. No QuickBooks Online sync, a 25-stop routing cap, and texting billed separately. Most businesses that need those land on Pro at $99 plus $5 for SMS plus a credit pack. Budget for that number, not $49. And if you are switching systems, the free migration brings contacts, addresses, notes, and a starting balance. Past service and billing history stays behind.
