About Counter & Crew
Counter & Crew helps local service businesses automate from lead gen to reviews, from phones and CRM through installs, so no lead sits and waits. plumbers, HVAC shops, dentists, law firms, electricians, pest-control shops, landscapers, painters, garage-door shops, locksmiths, general contractors, chiropractors, vets, optometry shops, med spas, medical practices, barbers, accountants, auto-repair shops, dealers, restaurants, gyms, property managers, real estate offices, retail shops, and self-storage sites. We sit through the demo, read the cash price, and say skip when the salesperson will not.
Who we are
The name is Counter & Crew. Counter&Crew in the logo, Counter & Crew in a sentence. The counter is where the phone rings. The crew is who answers it. The site is counterandcrew.com.
We write for the owner who still has a truck, a chair, or a front desk. Not for a vendor marketing team. Guides are also by trade so a plumber does not get a dental phone and an HVAC shop does not get a law-firm answering service as the default.
We do not publish invented staff bios, job titles, or a lab roster. The byline is the publication. Questions go to support@counterandcrew.com.
The stance
Skin in the game. We rank the tools, and we install the ones we would actually buy. Referral fees and install fees do not move a score.
Scores before the sale. The ranking publishes first. If we later sell an install of that tool, the number was already on the page.
Skip is a feature. We will say skip. We will say do not buy. A feature page is not a test, and a nice salesperson is not a verdict.

Independence
Nobody pays for a better verdict. Some links pay us. They do not buy the score. Vendors may pay affiliate commissions. Businesses may pay for installs. Neither buys a better ranking.
The compare table is the dated snapshot of monthly price, verdict, and aisle for every published review. We are a buying guide. We do not resell the SaaS. The visit button on a review may use an affiliate URL. The verdict still comes from the writeup.
If a stack is the wrong aisle, we say skip even when a link would still pay. Weave at $199 stays a dental PBX on a plumber page. Rosie stays a home-service bot on a dentist page. That is the point of the trade hubs.
Nationwide, not one metro
Framing on this site is nationwide. We do not pretend the buying guide is a city magazine. Remote installs cover all 50 states. Distance is not a technical problem. The systems are configured over screen share and phone, in your own software accounts.
You can still filter the installer map by state or city if you would rather work with someone local. That is a preference, not a requirement. Early listings are free while the directory fills in. Nobody pays to appear. Nobody pays to pass vetting.
The installer map and DFY
After you pick software, there are two doors. Find an Installer is the national map of agencies that install this software. Get It Installed is Counter & Crew Installs, the house done-for-you crew.
The map lists agencies with a specialty or a named tool. We do not invent either. Verified means we looked at the work and called businesses they installed for. Listed means the agency told us what they do, or we built the card from public information, and the checking is not done. The checklist is what Verified means.
The green pin is our own crew. Flat-rate remote installs in all 50 states, from the same shortlist of tools we review. We list it plainly instead of pretending the map is neutral about it. House profile: Counter & Crew Installs.
DFY packages on the installs page are Missed-Call Recovery at $1,500 plus $99 a month care, Review Engine at $1,250 plus $99 a month care, and Full Front Desk at $3,500 plus $199 a month care. How we make money
Two ways. Affiliate commissions on some vendor links. Install fees when a business wants the house crew to wire it. That is the same disclosure as the homepage.
Neither door buys placement on a ranking, a trade hub, or Finder. Finder names 1 to 3 published tools from Reviews only. BUY / CONSIDER / SKIP maps from the verdict already on the card.
