They want to know if you do what they need and whether you have anything open Saturday. Your contact form promises a reply in one business day. By morning they've booked whoever's website answered. We install a chat widget that answers the questions you get every week from your real information, takes a name and number, and hands the real conversation to a person. About five business days. About one hour of your time.
The route at a glance
Same work order as every Counter & Crew install. Different test: we visit your site after dark, on a phone, and try to make the bot say something it shouldn't.
Station 00 Before Day 1 · Self-serve
Nobody complains about this one, because the people it costs never call. They land on your site after hours, can't find the answer, and hit the back button. You never see them. If two or more of these sound familiar, your website is letting leads walk.
Run the checklist, or pick "Weak lead flow / no booking" in Find AI.
The chat tools we'd buy, with public prices, and the ones to skip.
Station 01 Day 1 · 30 minutes
Before the call we open your site on a phone, after hours, and try to get three answers: do you do this job, roughly what does it cost, and when can you come. On the call we go through what you get asked every week, and what a bot should never promise, like a price on a job nobody has seen. Sometimes the fix is a clearer services page and your phone number at the top. Sometimes a chat widget is the wrong buy, and we'll say so.
Bring the five questions you answer most, and the ones a bot should never touch.
A website report and an honest yes, no, or "fix the page first."
Station 02 Day 1–2 · We do the homework
Most chat software is built for online stores and software companies with a support team watching the screen all day. A local business needs something smaller: a widget that answers the common questions from your real information, takes a name and number, and steps aside when a person should take over. We pick from our published scorecard, matched to your website platform and to who will actually answer, and you see the score and the public price before you say yes.
Scores, verdicts, and prices as published on /categories/website-chatbots/, checked Oct 7, 2026. Same score, different verdict: LiveChat is built for a team that staffs the website all day.
Station 03 Day 2–4 · Remote, in your accounts
Everything is built in your accounts, under your logins. We load the widget with your real services, hours, and service area, write the answers you approved, and set the lines it won't cross: no prices on unseen jobs, no promised arrival times. Then we test it the way a real visitor will: typos, two questions in one message, asking what it costs, asking for a person. If it makes something up on our screen, it never reaches your website.
Read the answers and the handoff message. Approve them, or tell us what sounds wrong.
Install the widget, load your info, send leads to your inbox, and test-chat until it's boring.
Station 04 Day 5 · 20 minutes
A 20-minute walkthrough for you and whoever checks the inbox. Then the runbook: every login in your name, where chat leads show up, what the widget says and won't say, how to add an answer when a new question starts coming in, and exactly when it hands off to a person. Keep us on care, or run it yourself. Either way, nothing is held hostage.
Station 05 Day 6 onward · Optional care plan
Every week you get one short report: chats started, leads captured, and the questions the widget couldn't answer. We write answers for the new ones and fix the ones visitors trip on. Every quarter we re-check your tool against our latest scorecard, and if it starts underperforming, we swap it and tell you why.

What happens when it works
Website chat sits in the middle of the loop. Get Found brings people to your site, the widget turns a question into a name and number, and Missed-Call Recovery catches the ones who'd rather just call. Every answered lead is a job, and every job is a review to ask for.
