What it actually does
Posh answers your business phone with a person in the United States. Callers get a live receptionist, not an overseas floor and not a model that greets first by default. The product covers 24/7 pickup, bilingual English and Spanish, messaging, and the integrations they list as included. The homepage claims HIPAA compliance. Setup is usually 24 to 48 hours. Billing is month to month with no long-term contract, and the FAQ pushes true monthly cycles (they warn about 28-day billing elsewhere).
On posh.com/pricing, fetched October 7, 2026, the cards are marked effective 1/1/26: Chic $65 with 0 included minutes and $2.30 overage, Vogue $130 for 50 minutes at $2.20, Elegant $215 for 100 at $2.15 (marked most popular), Luxurious $420 for 200 at $2.10, Prestigious $700 for 350 at $2.00, Lavish $975 for 500 at $1.95, Exclusive $1,900 for 1,000 at $1.90. The FAQ’s own Chic example matches that meter: 15 minutes lands at $65 + 15 × $2.30 = $99.50. Trial is 7 days or 250 receptionist minutes, whichever comes first, with no credit card. Partners navigate to posh.com/marketplace/, not a public affiliate URL, so there is no affiliate link on this card.
It is not a flat AI overflow bot. Rosie at $49, Upfirst at $24.95, and Frontdesk at $99 stay cheaper when a person on the line is optional. AI on Posh is an opt-in hybrid next to live agents. The public cards are the human minute buckets above, not a separate AI plan price.
Who should buy it
Buy it
Buy it if a US person must greet the caller and you will pick the plan by real minutes, not by the lowest cash floor. Vogue at $130 for 50 minutes undercuts Ruby at $250 for 50 on the human floor. Elegant at $215 for 100 is the honest middle when a light month is closer to an hour and a half of talk. Law, medical, and high-ticket trades that already refuse a bot fit this aisle next to AnswerConnect and Ruby.
Skip it
Do not buy it if AI-only overflow is enough. That is Rosie, Upfirst, or Frontdesk money. Smith.ai AI Pro at $150 for 75 calls is a different product: bot-first with a human net, billed per call, not a pure live US desk.
The catch
The reason not to buy is Chic. Sixty-five dollars looks like an entry price. It includes zero minutes. At $2.30 each, 50 minutes on Chic is $180, already past Vogue’s $130 for the same 50 included. One hundred minutes on Chic is $295. Elegant prints $215 for those 100. Start on Vogue or Elegant unless your honest month is a handful of short calls and you are watching the meter every week.
