What it actually does
Avoca is Avoca AI, Inc. at avoca.ai. The product is an AI front office for home-service shops: answer the phone, book the job into the shop OS, drip old leads, and score the humans who still take calls. Homepage pillars on September 8, 2026 are Convert, Nurture, and Coach. Convert picks up inbound voice, text, and chat and books 24/7. Nurture runs outbound SMS and calls with a claimed sub-15-second speed-to-lead. Coach scores CSR calls and surfaces missed follow-ups.
The ServiceTitan App Marketplace lists Avoca as a Certified Application. Integration is API into ServiceTitan (AdCap for live capacity, jobs booked back onto the board). Marketplace FAQ: most customers live within about two weeks, every account gets a Customer Success Manager plus support@avoca.ai, and a Human-in-the-Loop CSR program stands by when the bot needs a person. Marketplace copy claims the AI handles 80%+ of inbound without a human. Those are vendor claims on the partner page we opened, not a lab we ran.
Pricing is Custom. www.avoca.ai/pricing returned 404 on September 8, 2026. There is no self-serve tier table. The homepage CTA is a 20-minute demo. Their Series B post (April 27, 2026) says they raised more than $125M across Seed through Series B at a $1B valuation, first reported by Fortune. That is capital, not a price list. Do not paste third-party monthly guesses. Those dollars were not on the vendor page we opened.
Who should buy it
Buy it
Buy it if you already run ServiceTitan (or Housecall Pro at similar scale), you have enough inbound that a missed afternoon costs real jobs, and you wanted the bot writing onto the same dispatch board your CSRs use. Multi-brand and multi-location rollouts are an explicit marketplace FAQ.
Skip it
Do not buy it if you needed a public $49 or $99 AI receptionist this week. That is still Rosie, Dialzara, or Goodcall. Do not buy it as a shop OS. Avoca sits on top of ServiceTitan. You still pay for the OS. Do not buy it because the homepage says “Trusted by 1,000+ Service Leaders” and you assumed that meant a one-truck plumber.
The catch
The reason not to buy, even when the ServiceTitan booking path looks right, is the paper and the ICP. Custom quote. No public overage. No self-serve cancel button on a pricing page that does not exist. A two-truck van that only needed after-hours pickup will sit through enterprise onboarding for a stack sized for call centers.
