- Aira lists Starter at $24.95 a month for 30 calls, Premium $59.95 for 90, Pro $159.95 for 300, and Scale $299 for 600 on getaira.io/pricing, checked October 14, 2026.
- Every number on that card matches Upfirst, including overage of $1.50, $1.00, $0.75, and $0.70 a call and the 20% annual discount.
- Aira prints no trial and no annual dollar figures, and its booking runs mainly through text links. Upfirst prints a 14-day trial and books directly on the calendar.
What it actually does
You keep your number and forward calls to Aira. It answers every call, all day and all night, filters spam, takes the caller’s details and reason for calling, asks your screening questions, and transfers to a person by rules you set. Each call is recorded, transcribed, summarized, and dropped into a built-in CRM with a lead pipeline. Zapier pushes calls out to other tools. Setup is listed at ten minutes: paste your website, pick a voice, forward the line.
The pricing page, read October 14, 2026, shows four plans. Starter is $24.95 a month for 30 calls, then $1.50 a call. Premium is $59.95 for 90, then $1.00. Pro is $159.95 for 300, then $0.75. Scale is $299 for 600, then $0.70. Features are the same on every tier except Pro and Scale add priority support. Annual billing says “Save 20%” but shows no annual prices. A free phone number is included. No setup fee is printed, and no trial is mentioned anywhere I read. Billing is per handled call, so a long call costs the same as a short one.
Who should buy it
Buy it
Buy Aira if you want a cheap per-call answering line with a lead pipeline built in, and a caller getting a booking link by text is good enough. Fit is the same as Upfirst on paper: roughly 20 to 90 real calls a month.
Skip it
Do not buy it yet if you are choosing between it and Upfirst. You pay the same money either way, and Upfirst prints more: a 14-day trial with no card, calendar booking on every plan, 35+ languages against Aira’s 31, and billing rules for spam and short calls. If you need booking on a real calendar for less, look at Rosie or Dialzara. If a caller needs a human, that is Smith.ai.
The catch
The reason not to buy is that you can get the same price with more written down. Aira’s own pages also disagree with each other. The homepage says 200+ integrations, the pricing page says 54+, and the homepage says it books on your real calendar while its scheduler agent only sends links. And the same Starter trap applies: 54 calls on Starter costs $60.95, more than Premium.
