Pros

  • Pricing page (Oct 18, 2026) lists Core from $399 per location and Premium from $599 per location, with USD, CAD, and AUD views
  • Core covers reservation management, text links and confirmations, call recordings and summaries, VIP routing, and integrations with OpenTable, SevenRooms, Yelp, and Resy
  • The FAQ says setup takes under 30 minutes of your time and can go live the same day

Cons

  • Every plan says Get a quote. The page does not print a billing period, contract length, trial, overage rule, or setup fee
  • Built for restaurants only. Premium features such as Superhost, 97 languages, and cross-selling are aimed at multi-location groups
  • Keeping your existing phone number is described as possible but something to discuss with onboarding. The default is a new number
  • Slang.ai lists Core from $399 per location and Premium from $599 per location on slang.ai/pricing, checked October 18, 2026. Enterprise is custom.
  • Our math: Premium costs $200 more per location than Core, which is 50% more. Across three locations, the listed starting prices are $1,197 for Core and $1,797 for Premium. The page does not say whether those are monthly or annual figures.
  • No trial, contract, overage, or setup fee is printed, so the quote is where the real terms live.

What it actually does

Slang answers your business line with an AI agent that handles reservations by voice. It connects to reservation platforms including OpenTable, SevenRooms, Yelp, and Resy, texts guests confirmations and links, and sends callers to a person when it cannot answer. Frequent guests marked as VIPs skip the AI and go straight to staff.

Core adds call recordings, summaries, guest satisfaction scores on every call, and special request capture. Premium adds what Slang calls Superhost: interruptible conversation, 97 languages, 20 voices with custom greetings, answers limited to your approved information, call quality review, cross-selling to sister locations, real time alerts, and a Smart Inbox for follow-ups. Private event capture through Tripleseat and Perfect Venue is listed under Premium. Enterprise adds custom workflows, dashboards, SSO and MFA, and a dedicated team.

Setup is described as under 30 minutes of your time, live the same day. One thing differs between views. The USD Core card lists Bilingual Support (Spanish), while the CAD and AUD Core cards list it under Premium. Check which applies to you.

Who should buy it

Buy it

Buy it if you run a restaurant where phone reservations matter, your booking system is one Slang supports, and you want recordings, summaries, and VIP routing included from the first tier. Multi-location groups get the most from the Premium features, since cross-selling only makes sense with sister locations.

The catch

The reason not to buy is the missing terms. Every plan is a quote request, and the page prints no billing period, minimum term, trial, overage rule, or setup fee. A $399 starting price with unknown overage is not a price you can budget on. It is also restaurant software, so a business outside food service should look at Rosie or Goodcall and compare the printed prices there.

These listings declare the same aisle Slang.ai sits on, or they name the software itself. It is not a vendor partner badge. Buying the subscription is the easy part. Getting it configured is the work.
