- Abby Connect sells one answering plan that mixes US human receptionists and an AI receptionist. On abby.com/pricing, October 11, 2026: $165 for 50 Abby Minutes, $329 for 100, $599 for 200, $1,380 for 500.
- An AI minute counts as half an Abby Minute, so the $165 Starter plan is 50 human minutes, 100 AI minutes, or a blend.
- The trial is 14 days or 500 Abby Minutes, $0 today, no setup fee, then month to month. Human minutes cost more here than on PATLive or Posh.
What it actually does
Abby answers your business line in your company name. You forward your number and keep it. Human receptionists work in Abby’s Las Vegas office, not from home, according to its trial page. They take messages, transfer calls, qualify leads, and book appointments from the call instructions you give during setup. The AI receptionist answers on the first ring at any hour, handles FAQs, messages, and bookings, and hands harder calls to a person on the same call.
You decide which calls go where. A common setup on Abby’s own trial page is people during business hours and the AI overnight, with a handoff when a caller asks for someone. Nights, weekends, and holidays carry no upcharge. Spanish answering is included. The AbbyGO app and portal show recordings, transcripts, summaries, and live usage, so you can watch the minutes as they are used.
Who should buy it
Buy it
Buy it if some of your calls need a person and the rest do not, and you would rather pay one company for both. Law offices, clinics, salons, and home service businesses with a steady stream of new-client calls fit, especially if paying a person to read store hours aloud at 11pm bothers you.
Skip it
Do not buy it if every call needs a human and price matters. On our cards, 100 human minutes are $189 on PATLive and $329 here. Fifty are $250 on Ruby, so Abby beats Ruby at that size, but it loses to PATLive at every size we compared.
Do not buy it for an AI-only line either. Rosie is $49 for 250 AI minutes. Abby’s $165 Starter buys 100.
The catch
The reason not to buy is the overage line. The pricing page says extra usage bills at your plan’s Abby Minute rate and leaves the dollar figure off. Divide Starter yourself and a human minute works out to $3.30. A busy month on the smallest plan gets expensive fast, and you will not see that number printed on the plan card. Use the trial to measure real minutes, then pick the plan that covers them.
